I'm such a geek. I just love science & math and jokes about science and math so today's Loose Parts made me laugh. I really miss Gary Larson 'cause he could bring in all sorts of science disciplines, especially biology and anything from the naturalists world, and make us laugh. Ah, if only I could draw ... and have funny ideas ... and know someone in publishing ... and, most importantly, have funny ideas. But if their still printing Family Circle and, worse, B.C., why not silly drawing of folks in lab coats watching a dog or dolphins or pulling a practical joke on a colleague? How about anthropologists? Or a zippy shot at Jane Goodall or Carl Sagan? Oh, I guess those have all been done. Dang, Mr. Larson, without you, what are we going to put into our pedantic PowerPoint presentations to keep the audience from falling asleep? Millions of laugh-deprived geeks at medical and research conferences around the nation need knew material!
