Vanity strikes back

Why did I get Lasik surgery? I'm vain? Or maybe to avoid the glasses or contacts thing when camping or sports? My brother loved his results. It would be nice to see when I get up in the morning. But I didn't get that result. Instead I wake up wondering where I put my glasses and go to sleep thinking I have dirty contact lenses still in. I see this awful blur image behind and near everything I see. And the doctor is very dismissive, patting my knee and telling me to keep my eyes lubricated. This is very depressing. The thing is I looked rather good in glasses, and I liked them! Regrets, regrets.
