NYC people diversity
Well, I think the Avelox is kicking in because I felt well enough to go to work. No fever at all yesterday. Of course I pick one of the coldest days to go back. But the sunshine and subway tunnel heat made it rather tolerable, just nice to be outside. Each breath seems like a blast of chilled air is hitting my nasal cave, hurting my head and torturing me with the urge to cough, but I've gotten rather good at suppressing this urge until a little coughing attack is warranted. Stayed too late at work so it is nice to be home, snuggle in bed and let Chai keep me company. And Manuel, my doorman, stopped by again with a flavorful Asopa de Pollo from the Chinese/Peruvian restaurant on Broadway - Flor De Mayo. I know it sounds strange but I love their food and it is fun to dine in and hear the Chinese guys speak perfect Spanish. Gotta love NYC and my UWS neighborhood.
