Brunch with FriendsStopped by C&T+S's place to head out for brunch. T is expecting any day now. Their little boy is really growing up. I hope he'll like his new brother when he arrives.
We walked up to Fred's, a cozy UWS spot that is family friendly for brunch. The walls are lined with dog photos - I think Fred is a black lab; don't know if he's still with us. The weather was a bit too chilly for outdoors. Ordered a wonderful aspargus and brie omplette. I really wish they'd reconsider the potato casserole wedge and replace it with somethings flavorful or at least crunchy. The side of wild greens is nice and needed both for plating and to make me feel better about such a high-cholesterol breakfast. Grapefruit juice was too small for $3 and too canned tasting. Bleck.
Food and friendly chat ... I'm happy :)
