Brunch at Shelly's

My aunt come into Manhattan every now and again. It is great seeing her and having a great excuse to go to Shelly's, one of our favorite brunch places near Carnegie Hall and her church on West 57th St. Shelly's has great seafood and my aunt loves the burger with Gruyere cheese. I loved the space they had just west of their current place but on the south side of the street. It had this great setback part with a fabulous colorful mural. The new space is more airy and modern. I still love the chocolates and meringue puffs for an after diner treat as you leave. We also stop by Teuscher's in Rockefeller Center. It has this old Swiss feel with lots of frilly boxes and fun displays. I got the nieces and nephews these cute boxes - a dragon, cow, ladybug and various other cute characters. They were too cute to pass by.
