70s Flashback

Lynda Carter serves it up in Brooklyn

I hopped a subway over to Fort Greene in
Brooklyn to have dinner with friends and watch a classic and cheesy two-part show of Wonder Woman. Stopped by Thirst on DeKalb to pick up some wine to go with the veggie lasagna. Wowza, great selection and a really cute guy to help me out. Maybe I should move to Brooklyn. Oh yeah, I can't pass the hipster test.

The lasagna was great and we had a fun time watching "The Boy Who Knew Her Secret" - not a really allegorical or symbolic title. We all had a hoot adding an occasional joke or comment here and there. The clothes were super hilarious, such high waists, big hats, and what an amazing boob support system. Nothing bonds friends more than 70s television. Isis, however, is still my favorite superhero.
